The paper mill is in production 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Atlas was one of the first companies in the United States to manufacture all of its products from 100% recycled scrap paper. The post-consumer waste content meets or exceeds EPA guidelines. By producing paper in this manner Atlas decreases the amount of solid waste that is put into landfills. Each ton of scrap paper recycled saves 3.3 cubic yards of space.
