Fabri-Kal was founded in 1950 in a converted A&P store in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Fabrikal started out with nine employees and manufactured primarily hardware packaging. Still headquartered in Kalamazoo, MI, Fabri-Kal has three manufacturing facilities throughout the US and is the largest thermoformer of polyolefins (PP and HDPE) for food packaging in North America.
