RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENTis located in Great Bend, Kansas. This facility encompasses 600,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing capabilities and is driven by a totally integrated MRP II (Manufacturing Resource Planning) System. Currently, Franklin holds seven patents in the floor care area. Its unique capabilities are focused on new product development to provide labor savings, increase productivity and advance environmental responsibility.
FRANKLIN tests floor finish products for slip resistance and require independent labs to confirm its methods, creating checks and balances for our testing processes. This process and methodology enables Franklin technology to maintain the highest standards of slip resistance and pedestrian safety. FRANKLIN maintains a 40 plus year association in ASTM (The American Society of Testing Materials.).
